This summer Mark and I were lucky enough to take a florida trip with out the kids. It was our 5 year anniversary present. We went to Orlando 1st and went to Universal studios and Islands of adventure. Then we took an air boat ride through the everglades. Very cool!!! We didn't get to see any gators in the wild, but they had a few on hand for us to check out on their gator farm. We had a great time. Then we spent a night in South Beach, Miami. You can keep south beach, a bit to plastic if you know what I mean. We then headed down to the Keys. We went all the way down to Key West and loved every minute of it. We went out on a 65 foot Katamaran (sp) (double hull sailing vessel) and snorkeled a coral reef, got a bit seasick (well Natalie did) and then went sea kyacking through the mangroves. (very cool trees that grow right in the salt water of the ocean) We had a super great time!

Just thought it might be fun to find out who the kids look like. For all you that think Savi and Jake look just like their dad.....guess not! And Audrey was just for fun : ) Only 19% though. I guess she really does look like her dad too!

This show's a good 360 degrees of my sweet lake and the kids having fun. We did this all summer. Audrey and the cousins love to jump. I do too, but each year that I go back, it gets a little higher, and somewhat harder for me. I can still jump though!
We had so much fun on the "Super Mable" this summer. I think the kids had more fun on it when it was tied to the shore than actually pulled behind the boat.
These are some pics of our summer. I am having some trouble with loading them all. There are more than one page, so you have to click "older posts" at the bottom of the page to see them all. Also if you click on a picture it will show up larger and you can see all the details. Anyhow, we had a super fun summer and got to see lots of our family and friends!
We also went to Astoria, Or. where they filmed Goonies and got to see the house that Mikey and Brand lived in, in the movie. It was pretty cool! We saw the school where they filmed Kindergarten Cop, and when you have been there you can totally recognize the streets where they filmed the car chase in the begining. Audrey saw the rocks out in the ocean that they match with the holes on the dubloon(sp?) but I was driving so I missed them.
WE always stop at the Big Texan in Amarillo, Tx. The kids love it, and it is good food. It's one of our favorite stops along the way.
We went to this great house of mystery up in the Glacier forest. It was a vortex where everything was a little different from other places. For example if you tried to stand straight up and down you would loose your balance and fall. That's why everyone is leaning in the photos. Also if you roll a marble on this certain spot, it rolls uphill. It was all very cool, and interesting. I couldn't let go of Jakob because he just went flying every time I did. It was all a bit disorienting and made me feel a little sick to be honest. The picture of Jake the Alligator man was taken in Longbeach, Wa. We went there with G&G Rainey.
The Flathead Lake is always so much fun. We love the lake, but love to spend time with our families and friends. We look forward to summer all year long.
This is Savanna having fun rolling at the lake. She really enjoyed her summer on Flathead. We always do. That is cousin Rhett in the background pulling up the Super Mable. We tow it behind the boat and have crazy rides on it.

Our family had tons of fun in Washington with the Rainey's! It is sooo beautiful there. It was nice and cool most of the time. We love and miss our Washington family!
