Dirty faces can be so fun! Specially when it's cookies that helped get it dirty!

My cute little ones. Savanna kept asking me for gum balls all the time so I found this huge jar of them and she thought she was in heaven, every day she gets to pick 2 of them and she loves it! Jake wanted in on the action, but I told him he needed to grow some molars before he gets any gum balls. The kids had fun in thier St. Patricks day clothes. Jakie's says "Rub my belly for good luck" and believe me, he got lots of belly rubbin that day. Cute kids!
Also Savanna yet again shows us her fabulous fashion sense. Mom's froggy flip flops, ducky jamma pants, here comes trouble shirt, and a couple different hats. She should be up in lights I tell ya!

Audrey won 1st place in the 4th grade science fair in Biological Science catagory. She did so good and I was so proud of her. Her project showed how our positive and negative thoughts can actually affect the environment around us. She planted seeds in 3 different pots, one for positive, one for negative thoughts, and a control pot. Every day she would pick up the love pot and think happy sweet thoughts to it, and sing and tell it how beautiful it was. Then she would do just the opposite with the hate pot telling it it was ugly and stupid. The love pot grew 96% and the hate pot grew 65%. The control pot only grew 42%. It was a fun experiment and it earned her first place and she got to go to the regionals and spend the day at the college in Magnolia, Ar. It was a great experience for her.

SNOW DAY!!!!! They say it happens about every 4-5 years, where southern Arkansas sees some snow. Well we saw snow that day my friends! It was soooo exciting! They sent all the kids home from school at 11:00 and my friend Kristen was sent home from her work, and so the kids all played together with the neighbor kids, and Kristen and I played some cards and dice, and we drank hot chocolate, and mini marshmellows, and we felt like we were back at home in Montana. It was a day to remember. Audrey couldn't remember how to make a snow man, and she was pretty bummed about that, but other than that what a fun day. Jakob's winter jacket was borrowed from a friend, and he made us laugh thinking of Christmas story because he couldn't move his arms. In fact he fell and couldn't catch himself and bonked his head pretty good. And poor Savanna had the flu and couldn't go and play in the snow. I felt so bad for her. But all in all we had a pretty cool 24 hours!

The girls spent most of the weekend in these dress up clothes. They looked pretty cute.

The kids had a lot of fun in Will and Amy's back yard when we went to visit a week ago. We got to see new baby Addison, and visit with Mimi and Grandpa Nelson. We had fun with Grandpa for a few days in Arkansas before we went to Georgia. He turned me onto a whole new world of movies. Cool Hand Luke for instance, excellent movie, and Paul Newman was so handsome and I will never look at a hard boiled egg the same. Anyhow, fun weekend trip and Addison is lovely, flawless, and sweet.

I loaded these pics wrong, but the two in the middle are Savi playing with her ponies. She was really cute because they had to be in the cage so they didn't get lost, and they each had to have their own cup of water. THey couldn't share. Then the one on the top of Savanna is her after being soooo sick, and the one of Jake in the laundry is him being sick. It proves my point that even with double ear infections and eyes that are glued together every morning with gunk, he can still mess in my laundry basket and almost have a smile on his face while doing it. Sweet babies. Savi has double ear infections too, and tested positive for the FLU. Poor baby. ANyhow, they are on the mend.
