Congradulations to Will and Amy on their new baby girl born Feb 13th! She is beautiful. She joins my sweet new nephew Brody born in January to Mark's sister Tina and her hubby Jon. Congrats to both families!

I wonder if you are as tired of seeing pictures of my kids messing, as I am of taking the pictures. That is all they do. Mess....from one thing to the next with barley a pause to eat and drink. Mom, I need a sippy cup of apple juice to go with the mess I am making. Thanks, sip sip, throw the juice on the floor. Hopefully the lid was on tight enough, or we have another sticky mess in a 1/2 hour, or worse, the sippy cup gets pushed into the toy box, and soon we have fermented apple juice, a.k.a. a nice vintage. Hopefully mom finds it before baby drinks it and is any wobblier on his feet than he already is. Without them, my days would be empty.

How do you know when the baby has slept well????? That is how! Just look at the hair and the degree to which it is sticking up off the head, is how well they slept. This also works if it is really sweaty and matted to their heads, they slept well then also. If there are is very little messy hair or sheet wrinkles on their cheeks, it is early to bed the next night. I had to include Jake all dapper and ready for church. His hair did lay down with enough water and gel, and egg whites. : )

There is always joy when mom lets you lick the beaters. Especially if it is chocolate!

I love the picture of Jake on the bottom. YOu can see his (as uncle Adam would call them) trucker wings. His hair gets reallly curly when it gets humid, and we live in the south, so it is always humid. He was having fun with his big sister though. Remember this is taken the 5th day of February. Shorts, or in Jakes case, diapy, and no coats. AHHHH!!

The thoughts that I imagine are going through Jakob's mind....."Oh Cwap! Mom's not gonna like this!" Or perhaps...."I'm sorry.....so sorry". Or perhaps still...."I am only 1, and they were honey nut!"

We are just gearing up for the hot weather and swimming, or as Savi calls it , Fwimmin'. No great lake to swim in here, so it is pools until this summer when we get to the Flathead. Savi loves to fwim with daddy!

I love this picture of Audrey! She looks a little "Special Needs" don't you think??
